Your guide is John Walsh.  John is a retired military officer (Army) who lives on Lake Lanier.  Fishing is his passion.  He truly enjoys teaching and seeing people catch fish to have fun.  His fishing experience dates back 40 years as he grew up fishing for bass, trout, salmon, and other fresh and salt water species in the Pacific Northwest.  He has since fished all over the world and caught trophy fish throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.  He has fished extensively in Mexico and Costa Rica.  He has been fishing on Lake Lanier, mostly for Stripers, for almost ten years.

John is licensed by the USCG as a Captain.  He is also trained in emergency CPR and First Aid.  He knows the lake, he knows boating, and he knows fishing.

John's philosophy is simple----   do everything possible to ensure his clients have an enjoyable and successful trip.  You should not hesitate to let your guide know exactly what you want to do.  Remember, THIS IS YOUR FISHING TRIP!   John will try his best to make it a catching trip.
