This is your fishing trip. John is your guide.  He will set up the trip to meet your needs and do everything possible to make your fishing trip a success.  There are half-day trips (approx 5 hours), full day trips (approx 8 hrs), night trips, and customized trips, depending on your needs and desires. 

Generally, a half-day trip will leave at "first light" in the morning and go until mid-day, or start at early afternoon and run until almost dark.  We will advise you depending on what the best patterns have been for catching fish. 

Full day trips are very flexible and can begin at any time you desire.  Again,  we will advise as to the best fishing times based on recent activity.  The whole purpose is to plan the trip to meet your desires. 

Certain times of the year, the striped bass are feeding aggressively during hours of darkness. If you are interested and the fish are biting, night trips can be fun and challenging.

If you have special needs, or desire to schedule a more customized trip, just discuss it with us.  Almost anything is possible. 

You are encouraged to tentatively schedule your date by going to schedule your expedition and completing the information.  This will at least lock in a date until, you can talk to John to discuss the details, including costs.  WE HAVE EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE RATES FOR GUIDED FISHING TRIPS ON LAKE LANIER!   When you schedule the trip, it is for exclusive use of the boat, which generally includes three adults.  Can fish up to four comfortably. 

Your trip includes:

• a world class inshore 24 foot boat
• rods, reels, bait, tackle,
• safety equipment, including child's life vests
• fish cleaning and bagging (We generally release most of the fish caught, but many people keep a fish that they can eat fresh.  Stripers are great eating. 
• and, oh yes, your friendly guide-- John!

Your trip does not include:

• Fishing License.  You will not be able to fish without a license. You can purchase and print your license on this website.  You can also purchase a license at Walmart, or local bait and tackle stores.  If you desire to purchase at a local store, go to these links to get directions.  Note:  the state of GA is in the process of oursourcing the issuance of fishing licenses.  I wil keep you posted. 
• Food and refreshments.  Bring what you want to eat and drink.  We'll have ice and a cooler on the boat. 
• Personal items such as sun tan lotion, insect repellent.
• Rain gear!!!!!
